LET’S GET YOUR PROJECT STARTED!

Here’s Some Helpful Info Before You Get Started:

  • This would be any additional mix other than the main mix of the song, including Instrumental, A cappella, Vocal Up/Down, TV, Radio, etc. Most commercial music placements require an instrumental or a ‘TV’ mix without the main vocals, and having those additional mixes mastered at the same time as your main mixes will only add a small additional charge instead of mastering them at a later time.

THESE ALTERNATE MIXES ARE SEPARATE FROM THE MAIN MIX FILE AND MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE MIX ENGINEER.

  • 16-bit, 44.1khz (Standard) & 24-bit , 48hz (‘High Res’) stereo wav files are included with every project.

** I recommend using the ‘High-Res’ files when possible. At the moment, most streaming upload services accept the higher resolution, 24-bit files; but not all do, so I include both files. **

  • DDP: If you plan to have your album pressed to CD, DDP is the best way to submit your files (provided your pressing plant of choice accepts them). DDP images not only include your music, but also important metadata as well.

Vinyl Pre-Master: If you plan on pressing your album to vinyl, I HIGHLY recommend getting a second set of masters with the physical limitations of vinyl kept in mind. Mastering specifically for vinyl will help the cutting engineer achieve the best sound possible for your release. Vinyl pre-masters also include a cue sheet, which is also helpful for the cutting and manufacturing process.

  • Sequencing: The order of your tracks, you can either number the files you are submitting or just let me know in the form! Want a specific length of time between songs? Have any songs that you want to overlap or flow into each other? Give me a short description of where you want each track to start/end, or upload an example track for me to follow.

General Info: I’m here to help you make your music sound as best as possible. To do this, I need to know what final product you have in your mind. What’s your vision for this project? Get into the nitty gritty of what you want out of your songs. Are there any songs that inspired you? Let me know any songs you think I should listen to before working on your project! Any amount of information is incredibly helpful!
